We are looking for full-time clinicians to join our diverse and committed team.This is a W2 employment position – if hired, you will be considered part-time until full-time caseload is reached. The right candidates are knowledgeable, skilled or curious to learn, and passionate about working with a variety of mental health conditions/diagnoses/populations, including single-incident trauma/PTSD, childhood trauma/complex trauma/C-PTSD, personality disorders, dissociative disorders, depression, anxiety, ADHD, relational issues, couples therapy, LGBTQ+ population needs/concerns, adjustment difficulties/life transitions, self-esteem/shame/perfectionism, anger management, etc. We are an LGBTQ+ affirmative practice and work with children, adolescents, emerging adults, adults, groups, families, and couples. You will not be required to work with all ages. Candidates with experience working with childhood trauma/complex trauma are highly encouraged to apply.
TRAVEL/COMMUTE EXPECTATIONS
We implement a hybrid work model (mix of remote and in-person). All team members are required to see clients in person as well as remotely. All team members are required to attend monthly in-person team meetings and case consultations. All team members may be expected to be present in-person for other practice-wide events throughout the year. All team members are expected to have reliable means of travel to the office address – 2804 W Belmont Ave, Chicago, IL 60618.
OPEN POSITIONS
We are looking to fill the following positions: Supervising Clinicians and Staff Psychotherapists.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current State of Illinois fully licensed clinician (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, Psy.D, Ph.D.). License must be active and unrestricted. Provisionally licensed individuals (LPC, LSW) will be considered for the Staff Psychotherapist position. Supervising Clinicians MUST have a clinical license and at least one year of mental health clinical supervisory experience.
- Minimum of a Master’s degree in the field of Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience providing psychotherapy to adult individuals and/or couples post-licensure (in private practice a plus, not required).
- Possess experience and interest working with a variety of mental health diagnoses and conditions, including trauma and/or complex trauma.
- Clinician must possess a warm, compassionate, attuned, engaging, non-defensive, and non-judgmental style with the desire and skills to build strong and secure relationships with clients.
- Culturally-competent and culturally-sensitive individual who is able and willing to work with clients from a variety of backgrounds, cultures, and trauma histories. Previous experience working with the LGBTQ+ community a plus. Committed to personal and collective anti-racist work.
- Clinician must be independent, ambitious, and collaborative, with consistent desire to grow professionally and personally and to contribute positively to practice culture (desire to supervise other clinicians in the future is a plus, but not required).
- Able and willing to work 3 evenings during the week.
- Clinicians will develop a full-time caseload over time – willingness to build up to a caseload of at least 24-25 consistent weekly clients is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct intake assessments, including diagnoses & treatment plans.
- Provide individual, couples, and/or group psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and/or adults via teletherapy and in-person sessions. You will not be expected to work with all ages. It is important to find and know your niched age group(s).
- Maintain own scheduling of all clients and write timely session notes/client documentation in an online system.
- Participate in consultation or supervision in accordance with licensure law(s).
- Other job functions and responsibilities exist as the above is not an exhaustive list. Any additional job functions may be initiated based on practice needs and client demand.
